Finance Executives play a crucial role in generating and managing funds for the Western Smartphone Film Festival. You will be conducting sponsor outreach and communicating directly with corporate partners. Key responsibilities for executives are to maintain relationships with sponsors and act as a professional representative of the film festival. You will be working closely with other executives under the guidance of the Finance Director. Finance Executives should be able to meet deadlines, communicate effectively, and take initiative within their position. Driven individuals with a passion for film are ideal candidates for this role.
As a Promotions Executive for the Western Smartphone Film Festival (WSFF), you will be responsible for producing and programming promotional material for the film festival. You will work closely with other members of the Promotions team, and carry out tasks under the supervision of the Promotions Director. The ideal candidate for Promotions Executive is someone who is ambitious, audacious, strong in communications, and innovative. The Promotions Executive must be organized, and required to work under tight deadlines. A passion for film is an asset.
Graphic Designers, Videographers & Photographers:
The creative hub of the team, you will be producing various forms of content for the promotion of the film festival. This includes rave cards, promotional videos and trailers, taking promotional pictures before and during the festival, and more. You will be able to take your own creative direction and submit ideas for content creation to best promote the festival, as well as execute graphics and content that is asked for specific promotional periods. You will be working closely together and along with other executives, and are expected to meet deadlines to follow the promotional calendar. Proficiency in Adobe programs is expected for graphic designers.
Under the Executive Director, the Executive Assistant will be helping with all facets of the festival, including administrative and logistical duties, creative input for the festival theme and other promotions, as well as fee collection, policy updates and enforcement. You will be involved in all director operations, attend all director meetings and aid in the decision making process of the festival.
The Media Coordinator is in charge of all external and internal media relations and reaching out to Western, London, and other outlets. You will be working closely along with the Promotions team in creating news releases and facilitating interviews with local radio stations, TV stations, and campus publications.
